The FCC Team


The Operational FCC Team manages customer onboarding, transaction monitoring, fraud and chargebacks for the company. The team in APAC currently consists of circa 8 people growing substantially in 2022 and beyond.  This teams is part of the Global Operations Team and works closely with the FCC Team in EMEA as well as working closely with Compliance, Customer Experience, Sales and Product.  


Key Responsibilities 


  • Managing the Company’s Operational FCC programme. This involves recommending new tools and reviewing new products for vulnerabilities and proactively collaborating with other teams (Compliance\Data Analytics\Product\Sales etc) to improve performance. 
  • As the manager, you will act as the point of contact for FCC operations and action escalations from your cross functional teammates and action these with the utmost care and attention.
  • Act as a champion for the customer for all FCC related decisions, actions and touchpoint whilst adhering to all regulatory/compliance frameworks.
  • Responsible for ensuring the day to day FCC operational activities and SLAs are consistently met and exceeded. Developing KPIs to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of controls, and taking action to continuously improve KPIs and overall process performance.
  • Handle or resolve complex operational and customers complaints in line with company policy
  • Accountable for the controls within the teams - ensuring that there is a focus on the control environment within the team 
  • Contribute to operational and AML audits and regulatory meetings as required.
  • Engage in one to one meetings with direct reports, coaching team members, point of escalation for the team
  • Reporting to senior management and the business as required.

 

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years experience within at least one of the following financial crime operational process (business onboarding/CDD, transaction monitoring, fraud detection)
  • Experience in analysing, interrogating, executing and changing business processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and capability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment 
  • Experience in working with financial services regulation
  • Relevant professional accreditations
  • A strong sense of professional curiosity and purpose, with a willingness to learn
  • Strong IT skills with ability to analyse data through excel
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience in managing a team


Ideal Additional Skills & Experience


  • Familiarity in Regulatory environment in Australia, Hong Kong or Singapore
  • Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks
  • Strong IT skills with ability to analyse data through excel
